OEM BMW front Telelever spring strut (Showa), standard non-ESA suspension, removed from a 2005 BMW R 1200 GS with 30,000 miles. Manufacturer sticker reads 7659619 / 13.06.Y6.01, dated 4-2004.

This is the FRONT strut, not the rear Paralever shock. They are different parts and are not interchangeable — check which one you need before buying.

Condition: shaft is straight, spring and both eyes are undamaged, no visible oil weep. Sold as removed and untested — damping performance has not been checked. This is a sealed, non-rebuildable Showa unit and it is twenty years old, so buy it as a serviceable used strut rather than a fresh one. Bushings, spacer sleeve and fit bolt are not included.

Part number 31427659619 is superseded by 31427690992, 31427710706, 31427729429 and finally 31428529485, so you may see any of those numbers on a replacement. Fits non-ESA R1200GS; will not work on an ESA bike.
