Parting Out a 2011 KTM 990 Supermoto (SM-T) — OEM Performance Parts for Sale

We’ve recently completed the teardown of a 2011 KTM 990 SM-T (Supermoto Touring) — a bike known for combining aggressive Supermoto performance with long-range comfort and road touring capability. This model shares its roots with KTM’s 990 SMR, retaining the street-focused performance and razor-sharp handling while adding practical features like a small windscreen, passenger accommodations, and luggage compatibility.

Built around the powerful and proven LC8 999cc V-Twin, the SM-T was KTM’s attempt to merge the worlds of high-performance hooligan riding and cross-country practicality — and they nailed it. With a six-speed transmission, WP suspension, Brembo brakes, and a chromoly steel trellis frame, this platform delivers both performance and versatility.

Released between 2009 and 2013, the 990 SM-T filled a niche that no other manufacturer was touching: a true Supermoto with touring comfort and real-world road manners. Today, it remains a favorite among riders who want performance without giving up practicality — which is why its parts are still in high demand.

All components were pulled from a running bike, inspected, and are ready for immediate sale.
